Away Supporters in the home end.
This letter has been sent today as a follow up to previous correspondence.

Jake Heath,

Supporter Services Manager,

WHUFC.,

London Stadium,

London E20 2ST.

September 11th 2019.

Dear Jake,

Manchester City Supporters in Home sections.

Just to remind you of our Email dated August 23rd and your reply that you were reviewing our enquiry and that you would come back to us as soon as possible.

In the absence of a further reply Jake we ask if you have made any progress so that assurances can be made to our members, and indeed to all West Ham supporters, that the club is taking the necessary steps to avoid a recurrence.-There were also reports of Norwich City supporters(in colours)in the West Ham sections at the next match.

There is a real concern amongst some of our members that on another day this could lead to trouble and that supporters including children could be put at risk. The next home match is against Manchester United and there is of course history of trouble between elements of the two fanbases.

Looking forward to a positive reply,

Lee Rogers.(Joint Secretary,Hammers United).

Re: Away Supporters in the home end.
This morning, over a sit down and a cuppa, I was watching Crimewatch Special / Updates.

Part of the programme was about a national police task force to eradicate football violence etc. They featured the Leeds fans, away at Wigan, showing how they were 'minding' the visiting fans in the period leading up to the game.

It then showed events during the game itself, when (in their words) a 'mindless minority' got fighting in the corporate area, when in FACT this was wholly because Leeds scored, and fans from the two clubs had been mixed together, and... 'BOOM!'. Any one of us could write the script after that...

The attitude which came across was 'people should be able to sit where they like and watch the game without hindrance, like Wimbledon'...

I'm afraid the powers that be DO NOT GET IT (or they are being deliberately obtuse). Football is, was and always will be TRIBAL. There is NEVER going to be a situation where opposing fans are seated in the Home end, in full away kit in some cases, and it's just going to sail by.

The fighting in itself is not 'what is wrong with the UK'... it is the brain dead liberal group think that simply cannot grasp what real life is like outside the okay yah bubble.

Brady, in her wisdom, is desperate for the London stadium to be the first segregation free ground in the county. And anyone who physically or verbally objects will be band for life. End of.

That's never going to happen as long as she has a hole in her arse...

...and she DOES have a hole in her arse.

Apparently...

Its the law that there is segregation can't see her changing that.

That's not even slightly true. If you're going to make shit up, at least make it slightly believable.

Brady didnt want the stadium to be segregation free, she wanted it to be family friendly which is why we dont have a family section like we had at UP.Which is one of the reasons why there were issues when we moved cos families who wanted to sit with their kids were sat behind blokes full of beer calling opposition players cunts.

It was a ridiculous idea there should be a section for families.

It wouldn’t happen over night, but what you’ve said she saw as a step in the right direction.

Re: Away Supporters in the home end.
Not having a family section is just pure ignorance from the management team and I’m also surprised the ticket office manager didn’t have an input.... oh his manager was mrs brady

maybe it's where I sit bml but never seen 1 away fan and if I did he would be out the fucking door rather than whining on here or writing to the club like a bitch

Ernie, its not the old days mate. Some away fan gets lippy and upsets West Ham fans near you,you chin him and you get 6 months. It;s just a lot easier mate if they are not in our parts of the ground.

Re: Away Supporters in the home end.
BML is the exception which has attracted like minded support form the BG. The stewards don’t give a fuck and most fans give it the big one on here but in reality hope that someone else will sort it. Let’s face it who's prepared to get nicked in a football stadium over something like that, not many.

Nothing wrong with giving them a bit of verbal abuse.

nail on the head. I've brought this up with football and non-football fans alike, they don't get the tribalism, but it's one of the only things I still maintain interest in football over.

The Fonz,

As long as it doesn't contain any bad language, homophobic references, racial references or religious references, and you use the correct gender pronoun(s), you're ok...
